Downtown Sanford StreetFest & Fireworks has a little something for everyone throughout the day, including an evening dance party and fireworks display. Here’s the activity schedule for the day.

StreetFest Features:
Line dancing at 1p at Hugger Mugger Brewing, 229 Wicker Street. Bomb A$$ Sandwich food truck will be set up behind the brewery all day!
Touch-a-Truck at First Citizen’s Bank featuring Sanford police and fire, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Caterpillar, and Central Carolina Antique Power Equipment .
A petting zoo filled with cute miniature animals from The Pint Sized Pasture.
An inflatable obstacle course and basketball station with the National Guard.
Sugar Skull and Columbian Butterfly painting on Wicker Street at LatinoFest while supplies last.
Day of the Day Altar – Bring a photo of a loved one who has passed away to add to the Day of the Dead altar on Wicker Street. The altar will be on display at the Lee County Library after StreetFest.
Stop in at KW Legacy to catch your favorite game on a big screen!
More Fun in Downtown!
Sanford Farmers’ Market – The market will run 8a to noon in the Chatham Street parking lot. Theme is “let’s give them pumpkin to talk about” and will showcase everyone’s favorite fall produce!
Brush & Palette Club Art Show – The Sanford Brush & Palette Club will open its 58th Annual Art Show at the Mann Center (507 N. Steele St) from 10a to 6p.
Enjoy the Lee County Community Orchestra’s “Visions: Love & Landscapes” at the Mann Center starting at 7:30p. Admission is free.
Baskerville – Temple Theatre will stage Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery at 2p and 7:30p. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
Boo & Brew Ghost Tour – Pick up a tour pamphlet at the Visit Sanford Welcome Center or look for the 6 Boo & Brew markers throughout downtown.
Downtown Trains scavenger hunt – Pick up a “conductor kit” that includes a Trains in Downtown passport, train whistle, and more at the Visit Sanford Welcome Center.
